TESTIMONIALS
DUSTIN S. GOOD Wyoming Seminary Varsity Hockey Coach

" I met Alex in the spring of 2012, and have since worked with him directly as a student-athlete on the Montclair Kimberley Academy hockey and lacrosse teams and interacted with him as a citizen of that school community.
Throughout the time I have known him, I have seen Alex put his own stroke on his teams’ culture and in arenas beyond the athletic realm. His teachers know him as hardworking and a bright student. His coaches know him as an elite goaltender and long pole in lacrosse. He is a dedicated member of all the communities he belongs to. It is an understatement to say that his ability to balance his extracurricular responsibilities and academics is uncommon for his age.
He is a very focused young man, one will notice this as soon as they have the opportunity to meet him. He is a quiet leader and he is truly caring about his peers and those around him. There is also an intrinsic warmth to his personality that is necessary for success in life."

"Alex shows consistent determination, competitieveness and development which has alwasys made me feel he can play at the hightest level. He is ahead of his years in skill development and maturity for the position. Alex blends his speed, flexibility and focus with a hybrid butterfly style making it hard for an opponent to figure out. I started working with Alex before his 5th birthday and continue teaching him to his day. He is definitely an asset to any team."

"Alex is committed to and focused on whatever it takes to be considered an elite athlete. He understands intensity brings results and I see that he pushes himself to his limits every workout. He makes continuous progress on a monthly basis. We train Alex in ten general physical skills: respiratory endurance–stamina–strength-flexibility–power–speed–coordination–agility and balance keeping in mind his specific needs as a goaltender. We encourage Alex to continue making gains in his strength training gradually and carefully, always keeping in mind that safety and health are most important to always be at the top of his game while playing hockey."

“For a freshmen Alex has had a significant impact on our team since day one. He has tremendous poise about the way he plays and handles himself on a daily basis that is well beyond his years. Alex has been the backbone of our team and knowing he is in net has allowed me, as coach to implement the aggressive fast pace style of play I want from our team. The ability of Alex to balance playing hockey for two teams as well as his rigorous studies, speaks to the character. I am excited about what the future holds for Alex and look forward to watching him grow in the years to come”.
